After a VERY cranky evening, around 7:30 pm the Twins suddenly decided to put off their cranky ways and embrace a general spirit of jolliness. They set themselves up on the chest with little notepads and crayons and scribbled and chatted for nearly a half an hour about delightful who-knows-whats.

Gideon had to check-up on Calliope's progress every so often.
I'll take Jolly Twins over Cranky Twins any night of the week.
